Michigan High School Basketball - Grand Blanc can't hold off Muskegon
February 19, 2022: Muskegon, MI 49441 The Muskegon Big Reds basketball team scored 84 points and restricted the visiting Grand Blanc Bobcats to 79 in the Big Reds non-league victory on Saturday.
The Big Reds now sport a 16-1 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Reeths-Puffer for a Ottawa-Kent - Green contest on Tuesday, February 22. Muskegon will battle a Rockets team coming off a 52-43 league win over Holland (Holland, MI). The Rockets record now stands at 12-5.
The Bobcats (12-5) will now prepare for their contest against Bay City Western (Auburn, MI). The Warriors come into the Saginaw Valley contest with a 5-11 record. In their last contest, Bay City Western edged Powers Catholic (Flint, MI), 64-63, in a league contest.
