The Floyd Central Highlanders basketball team scored 58 points and restricted the host North Harrison Cougars to 43 in the Highlanders non-league victory on Saturday.

The Highlanders now sport a 9-2 record. They put it on the line next when they host Jennings County for a Hoosier Hills contest on Friday, January 21. Floyd Central will battle a Panthers team coming off a 73-48 league win over Bedford North Lawrence (Bedford, IN). The Panthers record now stands at 10-3.

The Cougars (8-3) will now prepare for their contest against West Washington (Campbellsburg, IN). The Senators come into the non-league contest with a 3-8 record.
