Ohio High School Basketball - Tuscarawas Valley ripped by New Philadelphia
January 14, 2022: New Philadelphia, OH 44663 The New Philadelphia Quakers basketball team scored 66 points and held the visiting Tuscarawas Valley Trojans to 40 in the Quakers non-league triumph on Friday.
The Quakers now sport a 9-2 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Olentangy Orange for a non-league contest on Saturday, January 15. New Philadelphia will battle a Pioneers team coming off a 53-48 league loss to Olentangy Liberty (Powell, OH). The Pioneers record now stands at 5-5.
The Trojans (8-4) will now prepare for their contest against Tuslaw (Massillon, OH). The Mustangs enter the non-league contest with a 8-5 record. In their last contest, Tuslaw triumphed over Triway (Wooster, OH), 61-57, in a league contest.
