The James Island Trojans walloped the host May River Sharks football team by a count of 49-14 in Friday's league outing.

With the win, James Island upgrades its record to 7-0 on the season. The Trojans host Bluffton (Bluffton, SC) to confront the Bobcats in a AAAA Region 7 outing on Friday, October 13. The Bobcats go into the outing with a record of 4-3. Bluffton lost 45-22 in their recent league outing against Lucy Beckham (Mt. Pleasant, SC)

With the loss, May River moves to 2-5 on the season. The Sharks host Colleton County (Walterboro, SC) to confront the Cougars in a AAAA Region 7 outing on Friday, October 13. The Cougars go into the outing with a record of 2-5. Colleton County won 26-21 in their recent league outing against Hilton Head Island (Hilton Head Island, SC)
