Michigan High School Basketball - Covenant Christian nips Reed City
January 6, 2024: Reed City, MI 49677 Covenant Christian Chargers (Grand Rapids, MI) backers were pleased Saturday as they saw their basketball squad hold off the host Reed City Coyotes (Reed City, MI), 47-40 in a non-league bout.
With the victory, Covenant Christian upgrades its record to 8-2 on the campaign. The Chargers host Big Rapids (Big Rapids, MI) to play the Cardinals in a non-league bout on Tuesday, January 9. The Cardinals come into the bout with a record of 3-3. Big Rapids won 40-17 in their recent non-league bout against Benzie Central (Benzonia, MI)
Next up, the Coyotes play the Ludington Orioles (Ludington, MI) in a non-league bout, on Monday, January 8. Reed City will attempt to upgrade on its 3-4 season record. The Orioles come into the bout with a 5-4 record after their 54-20 league win over Manistee (Manistee, MI).
