Washington, DC High School Basketball - Seed Academy tops King's Christian Academy
February 5, 2013: Washington, DC 20019 Fans at Tuesday's non-league challenge between the Seed Academy (Washington, DC) and the visiting King's Christian Academy (Callaway, MD), saw Seed Academy's basketball squad knock off King's Christian Academy by a count of 42-30.
With the victory, Seed Academy upgrades its record to 2-3 on the campaign. The travel to Takoma Academy (Takoma Park, MD) to play the Tigers in a Maryland Independent challenge on Monday, February 11. The Tigers come into the challenge with a record of 18-4. Takoma Academy lost 30-29 in their recent league challenge against Spencerville Adventist Academy (Spencerville, MD)
Next up, the play the Model School for the Deaf Eagles (Washington, DC) in a non-league challenge, on Thursday, February 7. King's Christian Academy will attempt to upgrade on its 5-6 season record. The Eagles come into the challenge with a 4-13 record after their 35-22 league loss to Grace Brethren Christian (Clinton, MD).
