Fans at Monday's non-league challenge between the Damien Spartans (La Verne, CA) and the host Wilson Wildcats (Hacienda Heights, CA), saw Damien's basketball squad knock off Wilson by a score of 59-41.

With the victory, Damien improves its record to 10-1 on the campaign. The Spartans travel to Northview (Covina, CA) to battle the Vikings in a non-league challenge on Tuesday, December 27. The Vikings come into the challenge with a record of 11-2. Northview won 76-54 in their recent non-league challenge against Garey (Pomona, CA)

Next up, the Wildcats battle the San Dimas Saints (San Dimas, CA) in a Valle Vista challenge, on Wednesday, January 4. Wilson will attempt to improve on its 5-4 season record. The Saints come into the challenge with a 1-10 record after their 62-29 non-league loss to Yorba Linda (Yorba Linda, CA).
