March 26, 2012: Pasadena, MD 21122 The Chesapeake Cougars baseball team scored 14 runs and limited the visiting Glen Burnie Gophers to 8 in the Cougars league victory on Monday.
The Cougars (1-2) will now prepare for their match against North County (Glen Burnie, MD). The Knights go into the Anne Arundel County match with a 2-1 record. In their last match, North County tipped Meade (Fort Meade, MD), 10-0, in a league match.
The Gophers (0-3) will now prepare for their challenge against Old Mill (Millersville, MD). The Patriots come into the Anne Arundel County challenge with a 1-1 record. In their last challenge, Old Mill was overwhelmed by Northeast (Pasadena, MD), 3-0, in a league challenge.
Game Summary
The Cougars sent 16 to the plate in the 5th inning to secore the win against the Gophers. Chris Ruszin made his first Varsity start and pitced well.
