North Carolina High School Basketball - North Moore knocked off by Gray Stone Day
January 10, 2023: Robbins, NC 27325 The Gray Stone Day Knights basketball team scored 37 points and held the host North Moore Mustangs to 24 in the Knights non-league triumph on Tuesday.
The Knights now sport a 3-8 record. They put it on the line next when they host Union Academy for a 1A/2A Conference 35 contest on Thursday, January 12. Gray Stone Day will battle a Cardinals team coming off a 72-55 league loss to Albemarle (Albemarle, NC). The Cardinals record now stands at 6-5.
The Mustangs (2-3) will now prepare for their contest against Woods Charter (Chapel Hill, NC). The Wolves enter the non-league contest with a 3-5 record. In their last contest, Woods Charter ran past River Mill (Graham, NC), 56-22, in a league contest.
