The Taft Toreadors basketball team scored 51 points and held the host Garfield Bulldogs to 50 in the Toreadors non-league triumph on Tuesday.

The Toreadors now sport a 16-10 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to El Camino Real for a non-league contest on Friday, February 25. Taft will battle a Royals team coming off a 63-49 non-league win over San Fernando (San Fernando, CA). The Royals record now stands at 13-14.
