Miller Buccaneers (Corpus Christi, TX) backers were pleased Monday as they saw their basketball squad knock off the visiting Carroll Tigers (Corpus Christi, TX), 66-51 in a non-league bout.

With the victory, Miller upgrades its record to 3-1 on the campaign. The Buccaneers travel to Rouse (Leander, TX) to play the Raiders in a non-league bout on Thursday, December 2. The Raiders come into the bout with a record of 4-1. Rouse won 72-66 in their recent non-league bout against Vista Ridge (Cedar Park, TX)

Next up, the Tigers play the Brackenridge Eagles (San Antonio, TX) in a non-league bout, on Thursday, December 2. Carroll will attempt to upgrade on its 1-3 season record. The Eagles come into the bout with a 2-2 record after their 49-42 non-league win over Boerne (Boerne, TX).
