Coosa Eagles (Rome, GA) backers exited the stadium thrilled Tuesday as they saw their softball squad nip the visiting Model Blue Devils (Rome, GA), 9-3 in a league challenge.

The Eagles now own a 9-6 record. They take the field next when they travel to Gordon Central for a AA Region 7 challenge on Wednesday, September 29. Coosa will battle a Warriors squad coming off a 15-0 league loss to Dade County (Trenton, GA). The Warriors record now stands at 1-12.
