Hopewell-Loudon Chieftains (Bascom, OH) fans exited the stadium thrilled Friday as they observed their baseball squad overcome the host St. Mary Central Catholic Panthers (Sandusky, OH), 6-2 in a league test.

With the win, Hopewell-Loudon upgrades its record to 18-4 on the season. The Chieftains host Woodmore (Elmore, OH) to battle the Wildcats in a Sandusky Bay - River test on Monday, May 13. The Wildcats come into the test with a record of 6-11. Woodmore lost 2-0 in their recent non-league test against Lakota (Kansas, OH)

With the defeat, St. Mary Central Catholic falls to 11-12 on the season. The Panthers travel to St. Joseph Central Catholic (Fremont, OH) to battle the Crimson Streaks in a Sandusky Bay - River test on Monday, May 13. The Crimson Streaks come into the test with a record of 4-9. St. Joseph Central Catholic lost 3-2 in their recent league test against Danbury (Lakeside, OH)
