Louisiana High School Basketball - Walker nudges Kaplan
January 10, 2018: Kaplan, LA 70548 Walker Wildcats (Walker, LA) backers were in high spirits Wednesday as they witnessed their basketball squad tip the host Kaplan Pirates (Kaplan, LA), 41-36 in a non-league bout.
With the win, Walker upgrades its record to 18-5 on the season. The Wildcats host Hanson Memorial (Franklin, LA) to clash with the Tigers in a non-league bout on Monday, January 15. The Tigers go into the bout with a record of 13-5. Hanson Memorial won 55-13 in their recent non-league bout against Abbeville (Abbeville, LA)
Next up, the Pirates clash with the Berwick Bulldogs (Berwick, PA) in a non-league bout, on Friday, January 12. Kaplan will attempt to upgrade on its 18-8 season record. The Bulldogs go into the bout with a 7-3 record after their 67-20 league win over GAR Memorial (Wilkes-Barre, PA).
