December 7, 2023: Big Lake, TX 76932 In Thursday's non-league outing, the Reagan County Owls (Big Lake, TX) basketball squad overwhelmed the visiting Balmorhea Bears (Balmorhea, TX), by a count of 53-32.
The Owls (8-3) will now prepare for their outing against Garden City (Garden City, TX). The Bearkats go into the non-league outing with a 7-2 record. In their last outing, Garden City smashed Sterling City (Sterling City, TX), 44-26, in a non-league outing.
The Bears now hold a 4-5 record. They play next when they travel to Highland for a non-league challenge on Friday, December 8. Balmorhea will play a Hornets squad coming off a 37-22 non-league loss to Bronte (Bronte, TX). The Hornets record now stands at 2-6.
