Michigan High School Basketball - Chesaning tops New Lothrop
January 18, 2022: Chesaning, MI 48616 Fans at Tuesday's league challenge between the Chesaning Indians (Chesaning, MI) and the visiting New Lothrop Hornets (New Lothrop, MI), saw Chesaning's basketball squad knock off New Lothrop by a tally of 46-34.
With the victory, Chesaning improves its record to 7-3 on the campaign. The Indians host Lakeville (Otisville, MI) to play the Falcons in a Mid-Michigan challenge on Friday, January 21. The Falcons come into the challenge with a record of 0-7. Lakeville lost 57-32 in their recent league challenge against Hill-McCloy (Montrose, MI)
Next up, the Hornets play the Mt. Morris Panthers (Mt. Morris, MI) in a Mid-Michigan challenge, on Friday, January 21. New Lothrop will attempt to improve on its 3-4 season record. The Panthers come into the challenge with a 2-5 record after their 62-59 league loss to Durand (Durand, MI).
