January 8, 2022: Livingston, NJ 07039 In Saturday's non-league outing, the Newark Academy Minutemen (Livingston, NJ) basketball squad overwhelmed the visiting Academy of St. Elizabeth Panthers (Convent Station, NJ), by a count of 59-30.
The Minutemen (3-2) will now prepare for their outing against Millburn (Millburn, NJ). The Millers go into the Super Essex - Colonial outing with a 2-1 record. In their last outing, Millburn was crushed by Glen Ridge (Glen Ridge, NJ), 35-33, in a non-league outing.
The Panthers now hold a 1-4 record. They play next when they host Madison for a Northwest Jersey - Independence outing on Tuesday, January 11. Academy of St. Elizabeth will clash with a Dodgers squad coming off a 29-19 non-league win over West Morris Mendham (Mendham, NJ). The Dodgers record now stands at 4-3.
