The Pleasant Grove Vikings basketball squad scored 52 points and limited the host American Fork Cavemen to 40 in the Vikings league win on Tuesday.

With the win, Pleasant Grove upgrades its record to 13-1 on the season. The Vikings host Lone Peak (Highland, UT) to play the Knights in a 5A Region 4 bout on Friday, January 20. The Knights go into the bout with a record of 10-3. Lone Peak won 84-73 in their recent league bout against Riverton (Riverton, UT)

Next up, the Cavemen play the Lehi Pioneers (Lehi, UT) in a 5A Region 4 bout, on Friday, January 20. American Fork will attempt to upgrade on its 9-6 season record. The Pioneers go into the bout with a 8-6 record after their 68-62 league win over Herriman (West Herriman, UT).
