New Mexico High School Volleyball - Cuba over Mesa Vista
August 29, 2023: Cuba, NM 87013 The crowd at Tuesday's non-league bout between the Cuba Rams (Cuba, NM) and the visiting Mesa Vista Trojans (Ojo Caliente, NM), saw Cuba's volleyball squad beat Mesa Vista by a tally of 3-0.
With the win, Cuba upgrades its record to 3-0 on the year. The Rams travel to Jemez Valley (Jemez Pueblo, NM) to play the Warriors in a non-league bout on Thursday, August 31. The Warriors go into the bout with a record of 0-2. Jemez Valley lost 3-0 in their recent non-league bout against Menaul (Albuquerque, NM)
The Trojans now own a 1-1 record. They play next when they travel to Questa for a non-league bout on Friday, September 8. Mesa Vista will play a Wildcats squad coming off a 3-1 non-league loss to Taos (Taos, NM). The Wildcats record now stands at 1-1.
