Oregon High School Basketball - Klamath Union holds off Bend
December 19, 2009: Bend, OR 97701 Klamath Union Pelicans (Klamath Falls, OR) backers were pleased Saturday as they saw their basketball squad hold off the host Bend Lava Bears (Bend, OR), 61-56 in a non-league bout.
With the victory, Klamath Union upgrades its record to 4-4 on the campaign. The Pelicans host Phoenix (Phoenix, OR) to play the Pirates in a non-league bout on Tuesday, December 22. The Pirates come into the bout with a record of 8-1. Phoenix won 62-47 in their recent non-league bout against Mazama (Klamath Falls, OR)
Next up, the Lava Bears play the Hood River Valley Eagles (Hood River, OR) in a non-league bout, on Monday, December 21. Bend will attempt to upgrade on its 1-6 season record. The Eagles come into the bout with a 0-5 record after their 81-64 non-league loss to Parkrose (Portland, OR).
