The La Salle Lightning basketball team scored 48 points and held the visiting Cashmere Bulldogs to 38 in the Lightning non-league triumph on Thursday.

The Lightning now sport a 21-5 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Lynden Christian for a non-league contest on Friday, March 6. La Salle will battle a Lyncs team coming off a 62-53 non-league win over Meridian (Bellingham, WA). The Lyncs record now stands at 21-5.

The Bulldogs (20-4) will now prepare for their contest against Meridian (Bellingham, WA). The Trojans enter the non-league contest with a 20-9 record. In their last contest, Meridian was defeated by Lynden Christian (Lynden, WA), 62-53, in a non-league contest.
