The crowd at Friday's league contest between the Independence Blue Devils (Independence, OH) and the visiting Berkshire Badgers (Burton, OH), observed Independence's football squad edge Berkshire by a tally of 38-35.

The Blue Devils now possess a 4-2 record. They play next when they host Cardinal for a Chagrin Valley - Valley contest on Friday, October 5. Independence will play a Huskies squad coming off a 48-42 league win over Harding (Fairport Harbor, OH). The Huskies record now stands at 2-4.

Coming up next, the Badgers play the Richmond Heights Spartans (Richmond Heights, OH) in a Chagrin Valley - Valley contest, on Friday, October 5. Berkshire will attempt to advance on its 1-5 season record. The Spartans go into the contest with a 2-4 record after their 45-8 league loss to Wickliffe (Wickliffe, OH).
