Katahdin Cougars (Sherman Station, ME) fans were pleased Saturday as they observed their soccer team prevail over the visiting Ashland Hornets (Ashland, ME), 6-2 in a league challenge.

Next, the Cougars confront the Schenck Wolverines (East Millinocket, ME) in a 8 Person - North challenge, on Tuesday, September 26. Katahdin will attempt to better on its 3-3 season record. The Wolverines enter the challenge with a 6-1 record after their 3-0 league win over Wisdom (St. Agatha, ME).

The Hornets now have a 1-4 record. They take the field next when they host Hodgdon for a non-league challenge on Monday, October 2.
