In Friday's league game, the Kings Mountain Mountaineers (Kings Mountain, NC) football team smashed the visiting Draughn Wildcats (Valdese, NC), by a final score of 35-0.

The Mountaineers (4-3) will now prepare for their game against Crest (Shelby, NC). The Chargers come into the South Mountain Athletic 2A/3A game with a 5-1 record. In their last game, Crest overwhelmed Chase (Forest City, NC), 35-0, in a league game.
