Kansas High School Basketball - Central can't hold off Douglass
January 23, 2024: Douglass, KS 67039 The Douglass Bulldogs basketball team scored 35 points and held the visiting Central Raiders to 29 in the Bulldogs non-league triumph on Tuesday.
The Bulldogs now sport a 4-7 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Kingman for a non-league contest on Friday, January 26. Douglass will battle a Eagles team coming off a 53-42 non-league loss to Nickerson (Nickerson, KS). The Eagles record now stands at 1-10.
The Raiders (3-9) will now prepare for their contest against Caldwell (Caldwell, KS). The Bluejays enter the South Central Border contest with a 0-12 record. In their last contest, Caldwell was nudged by Cedar Vale/Dexter (Cedar Vale, KS), 53-21, in a league contest.
