Michigan High School Soccer - Oakland Christian knocks off Inter-City Baptist
May 9, 2023: Auburn Hills, MI 48326 Oakland Christian Lancers (Auburn Hills, MI) fans were pleased Tuesday as they observed their soccer team triumph over the visiting Inter-City Baptist Chargers (Allen Park, MI), 8-0 in a league challenge.
Next, the Lancers confront the Plymouth Christian Academy Eagles (Canton, MI) in a Michigan Independent - Blue challenge, on Thursday, May 11. Oakland Christian will attempt to better on its 10-1 season record. The Eagles enter the challenge with a 7-1 record after their 8-0 non-league loss to St. Mary Catholic Central (Monroe, MI).
The Chargers now have a 0-2 record. They take the field next when they host Lutheran for a non-league challenge on Friday, May 12. Inter-City Baptist will confront a Warriors team coming off a 9-1 non-league win over Charyl Stockwell Preparatory Academy (Brighton, MI). The Warriors record now stands at 7-2.
