December 9, 2022: Erie, PA 16506 McDowell Trojans (Erie, PA) backers were pleased Friday as they saw their basketball squad hold off the visiting Hudson Explorers (Hudson, OH), 54-51 in a non-league bout.
With the victory, McDowell upgrades its record to 2-2 on the campaign. The Trojans host Benedictine (Cleveland, OH) to play the Bengals in a non-league bout on Saturday, December 10. The Bengals enter the game with a record of 3-2. Benedictine won 68-64 in their recent non-league game against Grand River Academy (Austinburg, OH)
With the defeat, Hudson moves to 0-2 on the year. The Explorers travel to Wadsworth (Wadsworth, OH) to face the Grizzlies in a Suburban - National game on Tuesday, December 13. The Grizzlies enter the game with a record of 1-1. Wadsworth lost 62-50 in their recent league game against Brecksville-Broadview Heights (Broadview Heights, OH)
