Mississippi High School Basketball - Ripley overwhelms Mooreville
November 27, 2018: Mooreville, MS 38857 Fans at Tuesday's non-league challenge between the Ripley Tigers (Ripley, MS) and the host Mooreville Troopers (Mooreville, MS), saw Ripley's basketball squad wallop Mooreville by a tally of 57-16.
With the victory, Ripley improves its record to 4-1 on the campaign. The Tigers travel to Shannon (Shannon, MS) to play the Red Raiders in a non-league challenge on Friday, November 30. The Red Raiders come into the challenge with a record of 3-3. Shannon won 43-38 in their recent non-league challenge against Independence (Independence, MS)
Next up, the Troopers play the Itawamba Agricultural Indians (Fulton, MS) in a 4A Region 2 challenge, on Tuesday, December 4. Mooreville will attempt to improve on its 0-4 season record. The Indians come into the challenge with a 0-5 record after their 55-15 non-league loss to Booneville (Booneville, MS).
