Louisiana High School Basketball - East Jefferson overwhelms John Ehret
February 6, 2018: Metairie, LA 70001 Fans at Tuesday's league challenge between the East Jefferson Warriors (Metairie, LA) and the visiting John Ehret Patriots (Marrero, LA), saw East Jefferson's basketball squad wallop John Ehret by a tally of 59-36.
With the victory, East Jefferson improves its record to 13-11 on the campaign. The Warriors travel to L.W. Higgins (Marrero, LA) to play the Hurricanes in a 5A District 8 challenge on Friday, February 9. The Hurricanes come into the challenge with a record of 7-15. L.W. Higgins won 60-52 in their recent non-league challenge against Lake Area New Tech (New Orleans, LA)
Next up, the Patriots play the Grace King Fighting Irish (Metairie, LA) in a 5A District 8 challenge, on Thursday, February 8. John Ehret will attempt to improve on its 9-19 season record. The Fighting Irish come into the challenge with a 11-16 record after their 70-52 league loss to West Jefferson (Harvey, LA).
