The Guilford Grizzlies basketball team scored 52 points and held the host Wethersfield Eagles to 49 in the Grizzlies non-league triumph on Saturday.

The Grizzlies now sport a 13-6 record. They put it on the line next when they host East Lyme for a non-league contest on Monday, February 14. Guilford will battle a Vikings team coming off a 31-24 league win over Norwich Free Academy (Norwich, CT). The Vikings record now stands at 6-13.

The Eagles (7-8) will now prepare for their contest against Newington (Newington, CT). The Nor'easters enter the Central Connecticut - North Colonial contest with a 18-1 record. In their last contest, Newington nudged Windsor (Windsor, CT), 57-40, in a non-league contest.
