December 5, 2023: Caney, OK 74533 Fans at Tuesday's league challenge between the Wapanucka Indians (Wapanucka, OK) and the host Caney Cougars (Caney, OK), saw Wapanucka's basketball squad overcome Caney by a tally of 47-31.
With the victory, Wapanucka improves its record to 8-1 on the campaign. The Indians travel to Mill Creek (Mill Creek, OK) to confront the Bullfrogs in a Big 5 challenge on Thursday, December 7. The Bullfrogs come into the challenge with a record of 3-5. Mill Creek lost 39-26 in their recent non-league challenge against Achille (Achille, OK)
Next up, the Cougars confront the Tupelo Tigers (Tupelo, OK) in a non-league challenge, on Tuesday, December 12. Caney will attempt to improve on its 4-3 season record.
