The Jones Patriots topped the visiting Florence Falcons volleyball team by a score of 3-0 in Thursday's league test.

The Patriots now have a 14-11 record. They put it on the line next when they host Hazel Green for a non-league contest on Tuesday, October 6. Jones will face a Trojans squad coming off a 2-0 non-league win over Madison County (Gurley, AL). The Trojans record now stands at 28-16.

With the loss, Florence moves to 9-12 on the year. The Falcons host Tabernacle (Gardendale, AL) to face the Torches in a non-league contest on Friday, October 2. The Torches go into the contest with a record of 0-0.
