The crowd at Thursday's non-league bout between the Silver Creek Dragons (Sellersburg, IN) and the host Bedford North Lawrence Stars (Bedford, IN), saw Silver Creek's volleyball squad nip Bedford North Lawrence by a tally of 3-2.

With the win, Silver Creek upgrades its record to 22-6 on the year. The Dragons host Christian Academy (New Albany, IN) to play the Warriors in a non-league bout on Tuesday, October 13. The Warriors go into the bout with a record of 18-1.

The Stars now own a 16-6 record. They play next when they travel to New Albany for a Hoosier Hills bout on Saturday, October 3. Bedford North Lawrence will play a Bulldogs squad coming off a 3-0 league win over Madison (Madison, IN). The Bulldogs record now stands at 12-13.
