Texas High School Baseball - Permian holds off Lubbock
March 9, 2024: Lubbock, TX 79401 Permian Panthers (Odessa, TX) fans exited the stadium thrilled Saturday as they observed their baseball squad overcome the host Lubbock Westerners (Lubbock, TX), 9-5 in a non-league test.
With the win, Permian upgrades its record to 9-7 on the season. The Panthers travel to Randall (Amarillo, TX) to battle the Raiders in a non-league test on Tuesday, March 12. The Raiders come into the test with a record of 5-11. Randall won 16-1 in their recent non-league test against Caprock (Amarillo, TX)
With the defeat, Lubbock falls to 6-12 on the season. The Westerners travel to Abilene (Abilene, TX) to battle the Eagles in a 5A Region I District 4 test on Thursday, March 14. The Eagles come into the test with a record of 8-5. Abilene won 2-1 in their recent league test against Cooper (Abilene, TX)
