Alabama High School Softball - Lexington bounces East Limestone
April 21, 2022: Athens, AL 35613 Lexington Golden Bears (Lexington, AL) backers exited the stadium thrilled Thursday as they saw their softball squad run past the host East Limestone Indians (Athens, AL), 11-1 in a non-league challenge.
The Golden Bears now own a 6-14 record. They take the field next when they travel to Lauderdale County for a non-league challenge on Tuesday, April 26. Lexington will battle a Tigers squad coming off a 7-2 non-league loss to Hatton (Town Creek, AL). The Tigers record now stands at 22-17.
With the loss, East Limestone falls to 10-9 on the campaign. The Indians host West Limestone (Lester, AL) to battle the Wildcats in a non-league challenge on Monday, April 25. The Wildcats enter the challenge with a record of 14-8. West Limestone won 6-3 in their recent non-league challenge against Grissom (Huntsville, AL)
