January 29, 2024: Trinity, AL 35673 Fans at Monday's non-league challenge between the West Morgan Rebels (Trinity, AL) and the visiting Colbert County Indians (Leighton, AL), saw West Morgan's basketball squad overcome Colbert County by a tally of 55-41.
With the victory, West Morgan improves its record to 13-11 on the campaign. The Rebels host Lawrence County (Moulton, AL) to confront the Red Devils in a non-league challenge on Tuesday, January 30. The Red Devils come into the challenge with a record of 5-15. Lawrence County won 47-32 in their recent league challenge against Brewer (Somerville, AL)
Next up, the Indians confront the Sheffield Bulldogs (Sheffield, AL) in a non-league challenge, on Thursday, February 1. Colbert County will attempt to improve on its 13-6 season record. The Bulldogs come into the challenge with a 9-7 record after their 62-12 league win over Tharptown (Russellville, AL).
