Texas High School Basketball - Abilene can't hold off Krum
December 29, 2023: Krum, TX 76249 The Krum Bobcats basketball team scored 67 points and held the visiting Abilene Eagles to 62 in the Bobcats non-league triumph on Friday.
The Bobcats now sport a 18-5 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Castleberry for a 4A Region I District 8 contest on Friday, January 5.
The Eagles (13-10) will now prepare for their contest against Lubbock (Lubbock, TX). The Westerners enter the 5A Region I District 4 contest with a 5-13 record. In their last contest, Lubbock was nudged by Pampa (Pampa, TX), 46-26, in a non-league contest.
