Anderson-Shiro Fighting Owls (Anderson, TX) backers were pleased Thursday as they saw their basketball squad hold off the host Buffalo Bison (Buffalo, TX), 43-40 in a non-league bout.

With the victory, Anderson-Shiro upgrades its record to 6-5 on the campaign. The Fighting Owls travel to Hempstead (Hempstead, TX) to play the Bobcats in a non-league bout on Tuesday, December 14.
