Michigan High School Basketball - Cass Tech overwhelms Pershing
January 13, 2023: Detroit, MI 48234 Fans at Friday's league challenge between the Cass Tech Technicians (Detroit, MI) and the host Pershing Doughboys (Detroit, MI), saw Cass Tech's basketball squad wallop Pershing by a tally of 71-31.
With the victory, Cass Tech improves its record to 9-0 on the campaign. The Technicians travel to Edison Academy (Detroit, MI) to play the Pioneers in a non-league challenge on Saturday, January 14. The Pioneers come into the challenge with a record of 7-3. Edison Academy won 89-34 in their recent league challenge against Detroit Public Safety Academy (Detroit, MI)
Next up, the Doughboys play the Detroit Community Hurricanes (Detroit, MI) in a non-league challenge, on Sunday, January 15. Pershing will attempt to improve on its 0-5 season record. The Hurricanes come into the challenge with a 1-4 record after their 68-14 league loss to Summit Academy North (Romulus, MI).
