Chambersburg Trojans (Chambersburg, PA) backers were pleased Friday as they saw their basketball squad hold off the visiting Cumberland Valley Eagles (Mechanicsburg, PA), 43-41 in a league bout.

With the victory, Chambersburg upgrades its record to 10-6 on the campaign. The Trojans travel to Carlisle (Carlisle, PA) to play the Thundering Herd in a Mid-Penn - Commonwealth bout on Tuesday, January 24. The Thundering Herd come into the bout with a record of 8-6. Carlisle won 73-60 in their recent league bout against Central Dauphin East (Harrisburg, PA)

Next up, the Eagles play the State College Little Lions (State College, PA) in a Mid-Penn - Commonwealth bout, on Tuesday, January 24. Cumberland Valley will attempt to upgrade on its 14-1 season record. The Little Lions come into the bout with a 14-2 record after their 58-55 league loss to Harrisburg (Harrisburg, PA).
