In Thursday's non-league game, the Skutt Catholic SkyHawks (Omaha, NE) football team knocked off the visiting Pius X Thunderbolts (Lincoln, NE), by a final score of 23-8.

The SkyHawks (4-2) will now prepare for their game against Ralston (Ralston, NE). The Rams come into the B District 2 game with a 3-4 record. In their last game, Ralston toppled Buena Vista (Omaha, NE), 2-0, in a league game.

The Thunderbolts now hold a 3-3 record. They take the field next when they host Waverly for a non-league game on Friday, October 7. Pius X will battle a Vikings team coming off a 28-21 non-league loss to Scottsbluff (Scottsbluff, NE). The Vikings record now stands at 4-2.
