In Thursday's non-league outing, the host Lewis Cass Kings softball team scored a nice 16-3 win over the Frontier Falcons.

Next, the Kings face the Eastbrook Panthers (Marion, IN) in a non-league challenge, on Friday, May 3. Lewis Cass will attempt to advance on its 6-6 season record. The Panthers enter the challenge with a 5-5 record after their 8-3 league win over Elwood (Elwood, IN).

With the loss, Frontier falls to 0-10 on the campaign. The Falcons travel to Faith Christian (Lafayette, IN) to face the Eagles in a Midwest challenge on Monday, May 6. The Eagles enter the challenge with a record of 3-10. Faith Christian lost 15-0 in their recent non-league challenge against Kankakee Valley (Wheatfield, IN)
