March 4, 2023: Sugar Land, TX 77487 In Saturday's non-league contest, the Fort Bend Kempner Cougars (Sugar Land, TX) softball team overwhelmed the visiting Austin Mustangs (Houston, TX), by a margin of 10-4.
With the triumph, Fort Bend Kempner moves its record to 6-5 on the year. The Cougars travel to Terry (Rosenberg, TX) to play the Rangers in a 5A Region III District 20 contest on Tuesday, March 7. The Rangers come into the contest with a record of 3-3. Terry won 10-8 in their recent non-league contest against Katy Taylor (Katy, TX)
In their next game, the Mustangs play the Waltrip Rams (Houston, TX) in a 5A Region III District 19 contest, on Tuesday, March 21. Austin will attempt to move on its 0-2 season record.
