August 21, 2021: Saginaw, TX 76131 The crowd at Saturday's non-league bout between the Brownwood Lions (Brownwood, TX) and the host Saginaw Rough Riders (Saginaw, TX), saw Brownwood's volleyball squad nip Saginaw by a tally of 2-1.
With the win, Brownwood upgrades its record to 9-2 on the year. The Lions travel to Lake Dallas (Corinth, TX) to play the Falcons in a non-league bout on Friday, August 27. The Falcons go into the bout with a record of 2-5. Lake Dallas lost 3-1 in their recent non-league bout against Kennedale (Kennedale, TX)
The Rough Riders now own a 3-10 record. They play next when they host Crowley for a non-league bout on Tuesday, August 24. Saginaw will play a Eagles squad coming off a 2-0 non-league loss to Burnet (Burnet, TX). The Eagles record now stands at 3-8.
