The Cherokee Braves basketball team scored 79 points and held the visiting Blue Ridge Bobcats to 51 in the Braves non-league triumph on Tuesday.

The Braves now sport a 3-3 record. They put it on the line next when they host A.C. Reynolds for a non-league contest on Thursday, December 12. Cherokee will meet a Rockets team coming off a 73-61 non-league win over Owen (Black Mountain, NC). The Rockets record now stands at 2-2.

The Bobcats (1-4) will now prepare for their contest against Rosman (Rosman, NC). The Tigers enter the non-league contest with a 0-3 record.
