Missouri High School Basketball - Lafayette County crushes Penney

Lafayette County Huskers (Higginsville, MO) backers were pleased Tuesday as they saw their basketball squad bounce the host Penney Hornets (Hamilton, MO), 76-29 in a non-league bout.

With the victory, Lafayette County upgrades its record to 16-1 on the campaign. The Huskers travel to Gallatin (Gallatin, MO) to play the Bulldogs in a non-league bout on Saturday, January 28. The Bulldogs come into the bout with a record of 15-2. Gallatin won 65-55 in their recent non-league bout against Lathrop (Lathrop, MO)

Next up, the Hornets play the Trenton Bulldogs (Trenton, MO) in a non-league bout, on Wednesday, January 25. Penney will attempt to upgrade on its 4-14 season record. The Bulldogs come into the bout with a 3-14 record after their 72-58 non-league loss to East Buchanan (Gower, MO).
