Tripoli Panthers (Tripoli, IA) backers were pleased Friday as they saw their basketball squad knock off the visiting Valley Lutheran Crusaders (Cedar Falls, IA), 42-33 in a league bout.

With the victory, Tripoli upgrades its record to 8-10 on the campaign. The Panthers travel to Nashua-Plainfield (Nashua, IA) to play the Huskies in a non-league bout on Tuesday, February 8. The Huskies come into the bout with a record of 11-9. Nashua-Plainfield won 48-42 in their recent league bout against North Butler (Greene, IA)
