September 26, 2014: Normangee, TX 77871 The crowd at Friday's non-league contest between the Normangee Panthers (Normangee, TX) and the visiting Grapeland Sandies (Grapeland, TX), observed Normangee's football squad defeat Grapeland by a count of 36-15.
The Panthers now own a 2-3 record. They play next when they host Colmesneil for a 2A-2 Region III District 12 contest on Friday, October 10. Normangee will encounter a Bulldogs squad coming off a 74-20 non-league loss to Hull-Daisetta (Daisetta, TX). The Bulldogs record now stands at 0-5.
Coming up next, the Sandies encounter the Alto Yellowjackets (Alto, TX) in a 2A-1 Region III District 11 contest, on Friday, October 10. Grapeland will attempt to upgrade on its 1-4 season record.
