Miami Stingarees (Miami, FL) backers were in high spirits Thursday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the visiting Miami Beach Hi-Tides (Miami Beach, FL), 79-61 in a league bout.

With the win, Miami upgrades its record to 7-3 on the season. The Stingarees host Miami Christian (Miami, FL) to play the Victors in a non-league bout on Friday, January 7. The Victors go into the bout with a record of 4-7. Miami Christian won 75-49 in their recent non-league bout against Sci Academy (New Orleans, LA)

Next up, the Hi-Tides play the Hialeah Gardens Gladiators (Hialeah Gardens, FL) in a non-league bout, on Tuesday, January 11. Miami Beach will attempt to upgrade on its 3-8 season record.
