Indiana High School Volleyball - Eastern tips Tri-Central

September 8, 2022: Sharpsville, IN 46068

Eastern Comets (Greentown, IN) supporters left the game in high spirits Thursday as they observed their volleyball squad hold off the host Tri-Central Trojans (Sharpsville, IN), 3-2 in a league match.

Next up, the Comets battle the Wabash Apaches (Wabash, IN) in a non-league match, on Tuesday, September 13. Eastern will attempt to advance on its 7-6 season record. The Apaches come into the match with a 10-2 record after their 3-0 league win over Northfield (Wabash, IN).

With the loss, Tri-Central drops to 6-6 on the campaign. The Trojans host Western (Russiaville, IN) to battle the Panthers in a non-league match on Monday, September 12. The Panthers come into the match with a record of 10-4. Western lost 3-1 in their recent league match against Hamilton Heights (Arcadia, IN)
